After getting back from San Francisco and GDC, I was motivated to do work. Mostly technical art in the form of shaders and particle effects. I just researched a bunch of things that were both interesting to me and could benefit the game in the future. I didn’t get too far into it, because I need to run things by Tyler and Gabe before charging full steam ahead into an idea. I'm inspired to start working on particles and shaders on the side as practice for sure. I'll probably do tech posts along with these PPJs.
Timeline work
In order to prep the project for Pax East, I began helping out with the Timeline animations in Unity. My small task was to work on getting the insignia into the score effect on the summoning circle. I played with it for a bit, and then handed it off to Gabe for some extra tweaks.

What could have gone better?
I could have done more work for future builds, but I really wanted to get the most out of the spring break. I wanted to have this down time because I know for the next 10 weeks I will be consumed by this project. I'm excited!
